Are reservations required?

In short, yes. On weekdays, employees are not kept onsite unless an event has been arranged ahead of time. On a weekend afternoon or evening, you will most likely find the doors unlocked, but we can not guarantee availability unless you have made a reservation.

What is the cost to play?

To play in an adventure, a ticket for each participant must be purchased. The tickets are $29.50 each, and must be paid in full to finalize your adventure reservation. See our rescheduling and cancellation policy below.

What is an escape room?

Your adventure begins inside one of our five uniquely themed rooms. A total of 8 people will have a maximum of 60 minutes to solve all of the puzzles, clues and riddles to eventually ESCAPE the room. Teamwork is a must!

Are we actually locked in the room?

Absolutely not. There is always access to exit the room at any time in case of emergency or…you know, when nature calls.

What are the age requirements?

Anyone under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult. The adult will count towards the 8 person maximum per room. Yes, we know, you are “just there to observe and not play”, but you won’t be able to help it. It’s simply too much fun for the kids to have all by themselves! Children UNDER the age of 7 do not require the purchase of a ticket but they do contribute to your maximum of 8 players.

What if we need help during gameplay?

At The Exit Room our philosophy is different than most other escape rooms, we actually want you to succeed. During your adventure, your Game Master will be watching and listening from the Control Room. Any time you need help, simply ask and your GM will offer hints and clues. So ask for 100 clues, or ask for none…this is your adventure! For those of you that are a bit more…competitive…we do have a system in place that gauges your skill based on the number of clues you ask for. So don’t worry, we’ll tell you how awesome you are!

Are any of the rooms frightening?

The adventures are elaborately themed, but these are not haunted houses. There are no live actors to jump out at you. We don’t hire zombies.

What is the cancellation policy?

We do not offer refunds, and all sales are final. Once payment is processed and the reservation is confirmed, cancellations cannot be accepted. Reschedules may be permitted with at least 24 hours notice. There are absolutely no refunds or reschedules for no-shows.

Do we have to show up early?

We request that you show up 15 minutes before your reservation time. This way we can go over the rules with your group, answer questions, and show you where the restrooms are. Adventures will start at the scheduled time, so groups arriving late may have less than 60 minutes to play.
